Roadwork extended at Harris, Cardinal

Killeen crews will continue road repairs at the intersection of Harris and Cardinal avenues from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays through April 16.

Traffic will be routed around the work zone during this time. Motorists should exercise caution while in the area and plan alternate routes if possible.

Crews are repairing a section of curb and gutter and replacing asphalt.

Killeen crews to start road maintenance today

City crews are set to begin preventive maintenance on several Killeen streets beginning at 8 a.m. today.

Wedel Cemetery Road, just south of Heidenheimer Road in East Bell County, is closed due to high water and road damage from flooding, according to Lt. Donnie Adams, a sheriff’s department spokesman.
