All traffic on U.S. Highway 190 will be rerouted to the Rosewood Drive overpass in Killeen next week.

Beginning Monday, westbound traffic on U.S. 190 will be shifted to the Rosewood overpass between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.

One westbound and one eastbound lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Eastbound traffic will remain on the detour route and westbound traffic will use the Rosewood overpass.

On June 13, eastbound traffic on U.S. 190 will be shifted to the Rosewood overpass.

Following the roadwork next week, all main lane traffic will use the Rosewood overpass throughout the duration of the project, which is expected to be finished August 2015.

City officials advise motorists to pay close attention to construction signage, workers and equipment while commuting along U.S. 190, and to expect delays.
