Vehicle accident slows traffic on 190 in Killeen

UPDATE: 10 a.m.: All lanes on 190 are now open.


A vehicle accident in the eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 190 near the Trimmer exit is stalling traffic in Killeen.

A gray SUV was seen facing the wrong direction in the grass next to the highway, and police were blocking one lane of traffic.

The other lane remained open, however, a traffic jam was seen along the eastbound lanes of 190 from the Jasper overpass to Fort Hood Street.

Killeen crews to start road maintenance today

City crews are set to begin preventive maintenance on several Killeen streets beginning at 8 a.m. today.
