COPPERAS COVE — Copperas Cove police are investigating a two-vehicle, minor collision at the intersection of East U.S. Highway 190 and Elm Street. The wreck happened about 4 p.m.

"Traffic is backed up while they await wreckers for both vehicles," said Kevin Keller, spokesman for the city.

He said one occupant was transported to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center with minor injuries. The incident is still being investigated.

I believe this is one of the areas that have a lower speed zone due to workers present I think the sins say (Fines double when workers are present) I am absolutely all for that (no worker should be killed just because someone is in a hurry) but "workers" are seldom if ever seen there. Will the roadwork ever be finished? If not please remove all of the traffic safety devices that impede traffic flow and cause accidents for no apparent reason.
