Today through Nov. 9, veterans can get their seasonal flu vaccination at one of the walk-in flu shot clinics at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System facilities in Temple and Waco. The vaccination is free for all veterans enrolled in the health care system.

A drive-through clinic is planned from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 6 and 7 in Temple at the valet parking area by the Teague hospital (building 204.)

Waco: Walk-in clinics at the Waco VA Medical Center are in the outpatient clinic located in Room BA165 in the basement of building 4 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., 4800 Memorial Drive.

The flu vaccine will be available through March 31 from the Primary Care Clinics. Veterans may also call (866) 613-1482 to report receiving the flu vaccine elsewhere.
