One Killeen woman is learning the hard way that violating parole comes with consequences.

Judge Martha Trudo of the 264th District Court sentenced Amber Kristina Keck, 36, to 10 months in state jail with 50 days of credit after violating terms of her parole.

Keck was originally convicted of possession of less than 1 gram of methamphetamine on Nov. 7, 2006, and sentenced to two years community supervision.

Mary Williams, supervising officer with the Bell County Corrections Office, recommended a state jail sentence for Keck after she failed to report with the officer, neglected community service hours, refused an urinalysis and accrued delinquent court-ordered fees.

"She (Keck) was not receptive to the guidance offered," Williams wrote in a letter to Trudo. "It is evident the defendant has no intention of complying with court-imposed conditions of supervision."Trudo also sentenced:

Kevin Elthonda Lee, aka Anthony Marcus Barnes, 28, of Killeen, to four years in prison for delivery of cocaine, more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams, on Sept. 23.

Daniel Dennis Rogers III, 24, of Killeen, to 10 years probation, 100 additional community service hours and a $500 fine on Friday for violating terms of his parole.

Rogers was originally sentenced to five years deferred probation for possession of ecstasy between 1 and 4 grams, on April 9, 2006.

John Iglecias Morrison Jr., 18, of Temple, to five years deferred probation on Friday for possession of between 4 and 200 grams of adderall, on Nov. 25.

Judge Fancy Jezek of the 426th District Court sentenced Vicente Castorena, 22, of Belton, on Friday to two years probation and a $1,000 fine for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, on Aug. 14.
