WEATHER

Temperatures are going to remain in the mid-90s until Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high near 94 degrees, and winds from 5 to 10 miles per hour. That will continue into Monday, though Monday’s low will be around 73 degrees.

Tuesday will be more of the same, with a high of 95 and a low of 75. Winds might get up to 20 mph at night.

Wednesday’s temperatures will stay consistent with the rest of the week, as the high will be 95 and the low will be 75.

Thursday, there’s a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

The temperature will drop a bit to a high of 92, but the low will still hover around 74 degrees.

Friday will be partly sunny, with a high near 91 degrees and a low around 72 degrees. Come Saturday, there’s another chance of thunderstorms.

“There’s a possibility of a cold front, but that’s late next week and early into the week after,” said Bianca Villanueva, with the National Weather Service. “Thursday, there’s a 20 percent chance of rain. We may have a few scattered storms. Otherwise, it’s going to be pretty high and hot.”

The temperatures are normal for this time of year.

“Around this time we’re around 90 to 93 degrees; we’re pretty typical for this time of year,” she said.
