Officials in Killeen and Copperas Cove are currently reporting no flooding, as residents start their morning with light-to-moderate rainfall across Central Texas.

However, some residents have reported "rushing water" and flooding on parts of Veterans Memorial Boulevard, W. S. Young Drive, Rancier Avenue and the westbound access road at Trimmier and U.S. Highway 190 in Killeen.

According to the National Weather Service, the area is expected to receive 1 to 2 inches of rainfall through the weekend.

The City of Killeen released a list of streets that have been known to flood in the past.

"We don’t have any reports of flooding yet, but we would like to caution that the road construction along US 190 could cause increased runoff and high water where not expected," Hilary Shine, spokesperson for the City of Killeen, said in a written statement issued this morning.

Streets in Killeen that have been known to flood during heavy rainfall are:

Little Nolan Road (east of Cunningham)

Westbound U.S. 190 access road at Imperial Drive

W.S. Young Drive at Terrace Drive

Veterans Memorial Boulevard at 10th Street

Florence Road between Mary Jane Drive and Du Broc Drive

Acorn Creek Trail

Stonetree Drive between FM 2410 and Stonetree Clubhouse
