The warming station at the Killeen Community Center, 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd., will remain open through 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Hilary Shine, city spokeswoman, said the community center had 17 people over the weekend.

The city also opened the Boys & Girls Club as a warming station, but it was closed Saturday night. Shine said one person used that location over the weekend.

Temperatures in the Killeen area hovered near or below freezing through the weekend.
