Central Texas will experience typical summer weather patterns this week.

Scattered and isolated thunderstorms could be possible throughout the day today, said Jennifer Dunn, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.

Sporadic rain showers also will move across the region through Thursday.

“The storms could be hit or miss so keep an eye on the sky for those outdoor activities,” Dunn said. “During the summertime, our showers and thunderstorms tend to be more scattered.”

Temperatures for the rest of the week will be in the low to mid-90s with overnight lows in the low to mid-70s.

“Temperature-wise, the numbers are close to normal for this time of the year,” Dunn said. “Rain-wise, it’s been a bit wetter.”
