BELTON - A Bell County grand jury indicted a Killeen woman Wednesday accused of injuring three Killeen police officers during a domestic disturbance.

Cindy Tameka Johnson remained in Bell County Jail Wednesday on $107,000 bond stemming from two charges of misdemeanor assault and felony assault of a public servant, according to jail records.

Johnson was arrested Jan. 14 after police responded to a call of a disturbance at an apartment in the 800 block of Sissom Road in Killeen, according to an arrest report.

Witnesses told police Johnson was in a highly intoxicated state when she removed an infant child from the residence without the mother's permission.

The child was returned without injury; however, when Johnson was ordered to leave, she pulled the mother's hair. She then fled to another residence in the 900 block of

Sissom Road.

There, officers saw Johnson hit another woman in the mouth. When police attempted to detain her, Johnson immediately began resisting, the report states.

She bit one officer on the finger, drawing blood, kicked another officer on his legs and scratched a third officer on the neck.

If convicted, Johnson could face up to 10 years in prison.
