Young Eagles offer free airplane rides

Free airplane rides for young people, 8 to 17 years old, are being offered by the Young Eagles on Saturday at Skylark Field in Killeen.

Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. Registration is from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Genesis Aero hangar, 1505 Stonetree Drive.

Flights begin at 9 a.m. with registration ending at 10 a.m.

Names will be entered in the Young Eagles log book at EAA Headquarters in Oshkosh, Wis. Website: www.youngeagles.org.

Experimental Aircraft Association, EAA, Chapter 542 is headquartered in Killeen and supports the Fort Hood area and cities near the airports of Temple, Gatesville, Lampasas and Skylark Field in Killeen.
