Funeral services for Aubyne “Sue” Dolifka of Killeen will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Pershing Park Baptist Church in Killeen with burial to follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Mrs. Dolifka was born July 20, 1923, to Frank and Aubyne Umholtz in Washington, D.C. She died Sept. 4, 2013, in Harker Heights.

For two years she attended college in Williamsport, Pa. On April 28, 1948, she married Earl L. Dolifka in Baltimore, Md. Together they raised five sons while he was in the military.

Sue, as everyone knew her, enjoyed many hobbies such as bowling, cooking and baseball.

She also spent many hours tracing the family tree and documenting her family genealogy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Arthur Umholtz.

She is survived by her husband, Earl, of 65 years, and her five sons: Earl Dolifka Jr., Richard Dolifka, Frank Dolifka and his wife, Sue, Timothy Dolifka and Mark Dolifka and his wife, Judi.

She also will be missed by her eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family to include Bear Jones.

A visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
