Services for Betty Nell (McKinney) Taylor will be at noon Saturday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Burial will follow at the Killeen City Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor died Feb. 24, 2018, in Killeen. She was born Oct. 3, 1932, in Whitewright to Ralph H. and Viola (Murphy) McKinney.

She married James Edgar Taylor on Oct. 30, 1951, and they were married for 66 years.

Survivors include husband, James Edgar Taylor; daughter, Janice Carr (Neil) of Temple; son, James E. Taylor Jr. of Rosebud; sisters, Doris Ryon of Boling, Mary (Harold) Word of Sherman, and Nancy Gentry of Troup; brothers, Doyle McKinney of Wichita Falls, Jim McKinney (Sue) of Bedford, Lowell McKinney (Shirley) of Sherman, Noel McKinney (Linda) of Linton, Ind., Sammy McKinney (Dell) of Gladewater, and Kenneth McKinney (Sandy) of Bonham; two grandsons; five great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; two great-great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
