Funeral services for Carl Lee Millsap, 79, of Killeen, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen with the Rev. Jimmy Towers and Charles Hardage officiating. Burial will be at Copperas Cove City Cemetery.

Mr. Millsap died Aug. 6, 2014, at a Temple hospital. He was born July 23, 1935, in Copperas Cove.

He attended Copperas Cove High School and went to work for the local telephone company in 1954.

He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1958 and served until June 1960. He then returned to the phone company and worked as a lineman, installer and central office technician, retiring from Sprint in 1993.

He was an avid sports fan and loved to watch the Cowboys, Rangers and Spurs.

Mr. Millsap was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Minnie Millsap; brother, William Millsap; and sister, Charlene Millsap Wilson.

Survivors include his sons, Steven and his wife, Debbie Millsap, of Killeen, James and his wife, Amy Millsap, of Harker Heights; daughters, Linda and her husband, Donald Hutto, of Harker Heights, Betty Boriskie and Randy Kiley; sister, Edith Schwartz of Belton; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
