Funeral services for Christine “Peabody” Marks, 33, of Killeen, will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights.
The family requests that guests wear blue, as it was her favorite color. Please avoid wearing black or white, out of respect for the family.
Ms. Marks died suddenly Feb. 3, 2018, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Hospital. She was born May 27, 1984, in Fort Polk, La., to Sandra and Steven Marks.
Ms. Marks graduated from Junction City High School and studied at Kansas State University.
She worked at Baylor Scott & White as a contact center representative for four years. She will most be remembered as smart, funny, compassionate, optimistic, good-hearted, honest and kind-spirited. She had many interests, such as DIY crafts and gardening. She was an avid enthusiast of anything “Game of Thrones” or “Harry Potter.”
Ms. Marks is survived by her loving partner of six years, Kevin White; her devoted parents, Sandra Ray of Killeen and Steven Marks of Los Angeles, Calif.; her sister, and best friend, Erin Hosea; her brothers, Bryce Stephen Marks and Terrell Eugene Marks; stepmother, Stephanie Marks; her children, Penelope Ursula Renee Ray (cat) and Brandi (dog); and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, family, and friends.
