A memorial service for Clayton Ray Pike will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights with Pastor Randy Binion officiating.

Mr. Pike died Sept. 21, 2012, after a long illness. He was born Oct. 1, 1956, in Brady and was raised in Killeen.

He met and married his wife, Betsy Pike, in Dallas in 1991. He was a loving son, husband and father. He was a science teacher and golf coach at Ellison High School. The Lord gave him a great gift when he took him home. We will miss him, but he is finally healthy and happy once again.

Mr. Pike was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Riley Pike, and his mother-in-law, Patsy Bragg Davis.

Survivors include his mother, Juanita Faye Pike; his wife, Betsy Bragg Pike; and his beloved son, Brady Douglas Pike, all of Harker Heights; father-in-law, Dan Davis of Dallas; brother-in-law, Chris Bragg and his wife, Audrey Bragg; nephews, Brandon and Sam Bragg of Dallas; brother-in-law, Bob Bragg and his wife, Kyra Bragg; nieces, Natalie and Ashley Bragg of San Antonio.

Memorials may be sent to the Killeen ISD Education Foundation at P.O. Box 967 Killeen, TX 76540.

Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights is in charge of arrangements.
