Graveside services for Darcus Lonnett Jepsen, 98, of Kempner, will be at 3 p.m. today at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mrs. Jepsen died Jan. 7, 2014, in Temple. She was born Aug. 26, 1915, on a farm near Moody and Oglesby.

She lived in the Meridian in Temple in recent months. She and her family moved frequently to different locations due to job requirements. She always managed to be a very active and loved mother and grandmother. She will be missed. She was never a mother-in-law but a mother-in-love. Rest in peace.

Mrs. Jepsen was preceded in death by her husband, Donovan H. Jepsen; and a son, Herschel Lee Roach.

Survivors include her son, Jimmie L. Roach and his wife, Mary; three grandchildren, Jimmie L. Roach Jr. and his wife, Suzann, Roamore Heath and her husband, Doug, and Jackson Lee Roach and his wife, Yvonne; four great-grandchildren, Katie Guillott, Christopher Heath, Mary Lavern Heath and Jordan Roach; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove is in charge of arrangements.
