Services for Darlene Cox Bahr, 66, of Harker Heights, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Central Christian Church in Killeen. Burial will be at Slater Cemetery in Coryell County.

Mrs. Bahr died Oct. 8, 2012, at her home. She was born Feb. 8, 1946, in San Diego, Texas.

She was a homemaker who cared deeply for her family, her husband, her children and grandchildren, as well as her many nieces and nephews. She volunteered at various schools and churches throughout the years.

She became a Christian when she was in the fourth grade, a faith that she held strongly throughout her life, and that was an influence on those around her. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Killeen.

Mrs. Bahr was preceded in death by one son, Stuart Nelson Bahr; and one brother, Lloyd Dean Cox.

Survivors include her husband, Hubert Arthur Bahr; three children, Hubert Bahr III and his wife, Robin, of Atlanta, Ga., Derland Bahr and his wife, Candy, of Harker Heights and Alicia Figg and her husband, Noah, of North Richand Hills; eight grandchildren, Hadassah, Nathan, Charissa, Deborah, Joseph, Samuel, Isaiah and Rebekah Bahr; two great-grandchildren; six brothers, Wayne, Kenneth, Harold, Billy, A.P., and Curtis Cox.

Pallbearers are Donnie, Ray, Kenny, Doug, Andy and Jeremiah Cox.
