A Mass of Christian burial for Taesuk Hammons, 77, of Killeen, will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church in Harker Heights. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery.

Mrs. Hammons died Oct. 5, 2013. She was born April 28, 1936, in Taegu, Korea, to San Gap Yi and Tunae Ku.

Taesuk married Bill Hammons in Belton on Dec. 7, 1981. She was an active member of St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church. During her life she loved to cook and spend time gardening. She also loved being with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

Mrs. Hammons was preceded in death by her father, mother, two sisters and great-grandson, Braydin.

Survivors include her husband, Bill, of Killeen; daughter, Kathy Smith, and her husband, David, of Midwest City, Okla.; brother, Yong Ki Lee, and his wife, Ul Sun, of Dallas; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation was from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday with a rosary to follow from 7 to 8 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements. Offer condolences at www.crawfordbowers.org.
