Services for Thomas Eugene Legard of Killeen will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Kenneth Cavey officiating. Burial is at noon at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Mr. Legard died Oct. 28, 2013, in the comfort of his home. He was born April 27, 1940, in Billings, Mont.

After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Army. He proudly served his country for 20 years.

Mr. Legard married Ramona (Ginger) Miller on April 20, 1963. They were the proud parents of two children.

Mr. Legard loved playing cards at the Senior Center and at home on the computer. He also enjoyed fishing, going to Port Aransas and the beach.

He was a faithful member of Memorial Baptist Church who loved to attend Sunday school and Sunday services.

He was preceded in death by his father, Al Legard; his mother, Meldora Legard; and one brother, John Legard.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona (Ginger) Legard; a son, Kevin Legard; and a daughter, Dori Marie Legard; a brother, Jerry Legard and his wife, Margaret; and a sister, Linda Brooks; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
