Private family graveside services for Edward Alvin Jentho, 83, of Waco, were held on June 12.

Mr. Jentho died June 8, 2013, at a local care facility. He was born Nov. 14, 1929, in Albany to Paul and Selma (Schneider) Jentho.

In September of 1952, he married the love of his life, Margie June Johnson, and together they shared 60 years.

The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the Providence ICU staff, as well as to Westview Manor of McGregor, for the love and care expressed to Edward over the last two years.

Mr. Jentho was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Erna Eubank and Elsie Robertson; and one grandchild, Tashina Branham.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Margie June Jentho; four sons, Hank Jentho of San Antonio, Carl Jentho and his wife, Tammy, of Waco, Ed Jentho and his wife, Teresa, of DeSoto, and Gist Jentho and his wife, Cathy, of Oden; seven daughters, Anita Laughlin of Abilene, Mary Miller and her husband, Danny, of Premont, Darlene Torres and her husband, Julian, of Waco, Margie Lucas and her husband, Joe, of Abilene, Tresa Torres and her husband, Jesse, of Waco, Blanche Hatfield and her husband, Johnny, of Terrell and Loretta June Merritt of Hubbard; one brother, Gilbert Jentho and his wife, Alein; 31 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
