Funeral services for Edward Vernam Kropff, 91, of Killeen will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel in Killeen. Burial will follow at Killeen City Cemetery.

Mr. Kropff died Dec. 5, 2012, in Killeen. He was born April 14, 1921.

He retired form the U.S. Army after more than 20 years of service as a sergeant first class. He was awarded the American Service Medal, European Africa Middle East Service Medal and WW II Victory Medal.

After retiring, he worked at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center for 23 years.

Mr. Kropff was preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia Kropff.

Survivors include his loving daughter, Deborah Kropff of Killeen; loving sister, Katy Schmidt of Indiana; and loving brother, Ernest Kropff of Maryland.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
