Mrs. Kindler died Dec. 24, 2017. She was born Nov. 29, 1930, near Copperas Cove as one of three children to Theodore and Hulda Richter Schwausch.

Mrs. Kindler was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Dec. 26, 1930, by the Rev. L.J. Werner, and attended school in a one-room school house at Immanuel Lutheran Day School. On April 2, 1944, she was confirmed by the Rev. Werner.

Mrs. Kindler was a life-long resident of the Copperas Cove area. On Dec. 7, 1947, she was united in marriage to Marvin C. Kindler at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The union was blessed with two sons, Larry of Copperas Cove and Ronald of Allen.
