Memorial services for Jack H. Harmon, 87, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Inurnment will follow at 2 p.m. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mr. Harmon died Nov. 12, 2013. He was born June 4, 1926, in New Bethlehem, Pa.

He joined the military and served with the 101st Airborne Division in World War II. After the war, he married his wife of 60 years, Clara, on June 1, 1950. He returned to the military and remained until he retired in 1970, after serving two tours in Vietnam.

Mr. Harmon was preceded in death by Clara in 2011; and his daughter Linda in October 2013.

Survivors include two daughters, S. Skye Svavari of Wisconsin and Vicki Villarma of Georgia; sons, Jeffery of Kempner, Michael of Kempner and Kristopher of Tahoka; seven grandsons, Eric Fritzche of Kiowa, Colo., Richard Jones of Fort Carson, Colo., Jonathan M. Jones of Chipewa Falls, Wis., Donald Jones Jr. of Altoona, Wis., Aaron Villarma of Buford, Ga., Avery Kirkland-Harmon of Copperas Cove and Blake Harmon of Tahoka; three granddaughters, Candice Villarma of Buford, Ga., Kaci Harmon of Tahoka and Maci Harmon of Tahoka.
