Funeral services for Jennie Lee Spring-Moreno will be at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Burial will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Mrs. Moreno died Oct. 28, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 25, 1948, in Trenton, Mich.

She had a great love for family and friends. Her favorite pasttimes included bowling, playing bingo and gardening. She was married to her best friend, Ray Moreno. The couple enjoyed many trips to casinos in Las Vegas and Shreveport. They also enjoyed world-class cruises. She was very involved with the VFW, American Legion and the DAV.

You are an amazing Mom.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Moreno of Killeen; a daughter, Dawn Tootle and her husband, Scott of Round Rock; a son, Billy Spring and his wife, Tracy of Hewitt; grandchildren, Miguel, Kristyn, Jordan and Taryn of Round Rock and Billy, Katalina and Nicholas of Hewitt; five sisters and brothers; Larry Seeley of Little Rock, Ark., Judy Fugate, Gary Seeley and Michelle Wilson, all of Broadway, N.C., and David Zapata of Sanford, N.C.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Scott & White Cancer Research of Temple.
