Graveside services for Johanna Marie Dudley, 85, of Kempner, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Smith Memorial Cemetery in Kempner.

Mrs. Dudley died Jan. 19, 2014, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born June 2, 1928, in Oetinghausen, Germany, to Herman and Alwine Menke.

The majority of her life was spent with her husband, Leo Dudley, whom she married in 1957. Together, they raised five children.

Mrs. Dudley was preceded in death by a son, Gordon Dudley.

Survivors include her husband, Leo Dudley; daughters, Claudia Fielding of Anchorage, Alaska, and Shirley Strychalski and her husband, Jim, of Temple; sons, Greg Dudley and his wife, Tammy, of Abilene; and Leo Dudley Jr. of Afghanistan; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, which is in charge of arrangements. Offer condolences at www.crawfordbowerscopperascove.com.
