Graveside services for John “Johnny” Clark, 53, of Lampasas, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pearl Cemetery in Pearl.

Mr. Clark died Aug. 7, 2013, at his home. He was born Dec. 3, 1959, in Mercedes to Phyllis (Martin) Clark and James Warren Clark.

He graduated from Evant High School with the class of 1978. He later graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Tarleton State University. He was well known in the area for his many years in the real estate business. He enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, building fences and traveling to watch his sons play sports.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his father, James Warren Clark on March 6, 2012.

Survivors include two sons, John “Cliff” Clark II and his wife, Rachel, of St. Augustine and Matthew Clark and his wife, Melissa, of Temple; his mother, Phyllis Clark of Copperas Cove; two brothers, Jimmy Clark and his wife, Alecia, of Copperas Cove and Tim Clark and his wife, Cathey, of Lampasas; a sister, Tammy Burks and her husband, Calvin, of Evant; the mother of his two sons, Betsy Clark of Evant; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was awaiting anxiously the arrival of his first granddaughter.
