Funeral services for Julie Marie Farnsworth, 32, of Harker Heights, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Faith Point Church in Killeen.
Mrs. Farnsworth died Feb. 4, 2013, at her home. She was born and raised in Las Cruces, N.M.
She attended Mayfield High School, Master’s Commission, and Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas. She graduated from Northwest Christian University in Eugene, Ore., with a bachelor’s degree in music industry and psychology.
She was employed by Killeen Independent School District at Manor Middle School as an interventionist. She was looking forward to becoming a special education teacher in the very near future.
She loved her friends, family, and her husband, Joshua Farnsworth, with a dedicated, unconditional love. She really enjoyed spending time with her nieces, Lacey and Hailey Bernier. She spent her life loving people, planning fun hunts, making jewelry, painting, writing, singing and producing music. She enjoyed the outdoors of the Northwest Coast very much, especially playing her guitar around a campfire on the beach, tent camping and riding quads on the dunes.
Mrs. Farnsworth was a treasured wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was adored by her husband, Joshua Farnsworth; her parents, Reggie and Katie Horn; her grandmothers, Norma Horn and Lou Ella Roberts; her older sister, Angela Bernier; her brother-in-law, Joe Bernier; and her two nieces, Lacey and Hailey Bernier.
Though it saddens our hearts to say an early farewell, we are rejoicing that she is now with her son, Dekaiah Jaeden Horn, in Heaven today worshiping the Lord with her angelic voice while holding tightly to her son. She will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton, which is in charge of arrangements.
