Funeral services for Lena Mae Hinkle, 84, of Killeen, will be 10 a.m. Monday, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. Burial will follow at Killeen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Hinkle died Feb. 26, 2014, at a local hospital. She was born Feb. 9, 1930, in Mesquite to Stephen B. and Bertie (Poole) Brown and was raised in Lott.

She moved to the Killeen area in 1943. In 1961, she started work with United Artist Theatres and was employed with them for a number of years.

Mrs. Hinkle was preceded in death by her father and mother; husband, Charles W. Hinkle; and two grandsons.

Survivors include two sons, David (Neta) Hinkle of Henderson and Charles Gene Hinkle of Branson, Mo.; daughter, Norma (Wesley) Attaway of Killeen; brother, Ben (Doris) Brown; sister, Nelda Mansfield; five grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen. The family requests no visitations to the family’s home.
