Services for Lonnie James LeBlanc, 38, of Copperas Cove, will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights. Officiating will be Dr. Gary Blakeney, minister of Bertram Church of Christ. Interment will follow at 11 a.m. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mr. LeBlanc died June 25, 2014, in McGregor.

He was born Aug. 5, 1975, in Aurora, Colo. He served faithfully in the United States Marine Corps and retired Sept. 30, 2013, after 20 years of devoted service.

After his retirement in the Marine Corps, Mr. LeBlanc became employed in the civilian workforce until he passed. He enjoyed reading, hunting, playing with his children, fishing and building things.

Mr. LeBlanc was preceded in death by his parents; Linda L. LeBlanc and Marcel T. LeBlanc.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Nicole LeBlanc; and two stepchildren, Kolby and Ashton Hobbie; two brothers, Christopher Weimer of Michigan and Edward Weimer of California; Uncle Howard and Uncle Karl; numerous aunts; Marine Corps brother; and many close friends.

The family wishes to thank Mr. LeBlanc’s place of employment and co-workers for the support and visits through this very difficult time.

A visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
