A funeral service for Mary E. Gillum, 91, of Gainesville will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, with the Rev. G.A. Moore officiating. Burial will be at Tioga Cemetery in Tioga.
Mrs. Gillum died March 8, 2018, in Gainesville. She was born Nov. 22, 1926, in Ethel to Elmer and Bertha Mae (Hurley) Coulston.
Mrs. Gillum married Walker Gillum on Jan. 3, 1946, in Grayson County. She was a former beautician.
Mrs. Gillum is survived by her daughters, Debi Walker and husband, Scott of Flint, Teresa Hudson and Steve Lynch of Kaneohe, Hawaii; grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson and husband Jody of Rosston, Clint Worthey and wife, Jennifer of Celina, Ryan Worthey and wife, Mindy of Celina, Ric Melcalf II and wife, Angela of Sherman; eight great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Megan, Josh, Kailee, Caden, Makayla, Julie and Carli; and her sister in law, Patricia Gillum of Denton.
Mrs. Gillum was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Bertha Coulston; sister, Barbara Lynn Booth; and brother, James Coulston.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. March 11 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey.
