Graveside services for Mary Juanita Keller, 89, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Mrs. Keller died Jan. 21, 2013. She was born Dec. 9, 1923, in Fruitvale.
She married the love of her life, William (Bill) H. Keller Jr., on Sept. 10, 1945, and they were blessed with 67 years together. As the wife of an Army officer, she traveled the world in support of her husband and raised four wonderful children. In 1960, they made their permanent home in Copperas Cove, where they lived for more than 50 years.
Mrs. Keller worked in food services for Copperas Cove Independent School District for 21 years. She also was known for her talents with ceramics, growing plants and flowers, quilting, needlepoint and crochet. Her all-time favorite thing was to spend time with her family.
She will be remembered for her warm spirit, her great sense of humor and fantastic southern cooking.
Mrs. Keller was preceded in death by her beloved parents, William and Ida Foster; her brother, JW Foster; and her little sister, Earline Lill; and all of the rest of her Foster and Burrow kin.
Survivors include her three loving sons, William H. (Billy) and his wife, Marj, of Denver, Colo., Robert (Bobby) and his wife, Kay, of Killeen and Raymond and his wife, Colleen, of Georgetown; her cherished daughter, Joyce Amey and her husband, Ryan, of Austin; seven grandchildren, Garrin, Chad, Courtney, Byron, Kristi, Travis and Carrie; seven grandchildren-in-law; 15 great-grandchildren; her baby sister, Ida Mae Tipps and her sister-in-law and friend, Carol Foster, both of Fruitvale; and 10 nieces and nephews of Fruitvale and Chicago, Ill.
Visitation is from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, which is in charge of arrangements.
