Memorial services for Owen David Doughty, of Harker Heights, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.

Mr. Doughty died May 3, 2013. He was born Jan. 21, 1936, in Merrimac, Wis.

He served in the U.S. Army until his retirement after 22 years of service. He also retired from Bell County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 after 15 years of service.

Mr. Doughty was preceded in death by his parents, Orliff Doughty and Erma Madole; two sisters; and five brothers.

Survivors include his children, Bruce Doughty and his wife, Elizabeth, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Stephanie Hall and her husband, Owen “Hoss,” of Nolanville and Raye Ann Honan and her husband, Charles, of Killeen; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Wilcox of Baraboo, Wis.; and brother, Rodney Doughty and his wife, Sharon, of Juneau, Wis.
