A gathering of family and friends for Rebecca Ann Hammack, 41, of Killeen, will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove. Graveside services will follow at Smith Cemetery in Kempner with Ken Shirley officiating.

Mrs. Hammack died June 27, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her family and friends.

Becky was born July 1, 1972, in Killeen. Her passions were Friday night dates with her husband, Arles, and being a mother to her four children.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ruben Phillips; a brother, Alford Phillips and a sister, Frankie Phillips.

Becky is survived by her husband, Arles Hammack; her children, Josh Watson, Beatrice Watson-Dillon, Tayler Hammack, Maddison Hammack; mother, Mary Phillips; sisters, Mary Jo Larson, Nalla Tipton and Beatrice Gunn; brothers, Thomas Phillips and Allen Phillips, along with many nieces and nephews.

Prior to the graveside service, there will be a time of love and laughter shared in Becky’s memory with a luncheon provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, of which Becky was a lifetime member. Her family would be honored to have those who come share a memory.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to benefit Maddison Hammack’s education. Memorials may be directed to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 3393, 424 CR 4931, Kempner, TX 76539.
