Services for Ronald Harlan Casey, 80, of Harker Heights, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.

Mr. Casey died Aug. 9, 2017. He was born Sept. 15, 1936, in Gadsden, Ala., to Harlan Casey and Nell (Rutledge) Casey.

Ron entered the U.S. Air Force in 1957 and served until his retirement as a chief master sergeant in 1983. He then joined Rockwell International in Plano as a program manager until his second retirement in 1997. Ron’s main occupation then became golfing upon his relocation to Harker Heights.

Mr. Casey was preceded in death by his bother, Larry Casey; and sons, Patrick Casey and Timothy Casey.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Shirley (Long) Casey; sister, Kay (Casey) Entrekin; daughter, Dana Casey Lentz; son-in-law, Michael Lentz; granddaughters, Erin Lentz and Megan Lentz; and grandsons, Daniel Casey and Scott Casey.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, which is in charge of arrangements.
