Memorial services for Ruth Ann McIlvenna will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.

Ms. McIlvenna died Aug. 11, 2013, in the comfort of her loving family in Temple. She was born April 7, 1938, in Decatur, Ill. and was raised in nearby Maroa, Ill.

She was a strong, giving, caring and devoted person and those surrounding her were deeply touched and inspired. Her energy and spirit were boundless and her work ethic was tireless. She was recently retired from the Educational Services Division at Fort Hood, where she worked for over 30 years, accumulating a wealth of friends.
