Services for Sharon Linker, of Copperas Cove, will be at 9 a.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Mrs. Linker died April 9, 2017, in a Killeen hospital. She was born Oct. 23, 1953, in Duncan, Okla. to Willie May (Donaghey) and Otis Aaron Anderson. Later in life Willie married Charles Donaghey, which Sharon loving referred to as her Dad.

On Jan. 5, 1979, in Henryetta, Okla. Sharon married the love of her life, Edward Linker. Sharon loved caring for people, which made her choose a career as a certified nursing assistant. She stayed in her position for 15 years.

Shopping at Wal-Mart was an activity Sharon really enjoyed. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, FarmVille, and spending time with her grandkids.

Mrs. Linker was preceded in death by her mother, Willie May Donaghey; and sister, Debbie (Feldman) and her children, Billy and Tammy Feldman.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Linker; their sons, Erik E. Linker and Justin D. (Kristin) Linker; their daughter, Frances (Shane) Reiser; Sharon’s sister, Cathy (Walt) Follmer; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, which is in charge of local arrangements.
