Funeral services for Therma “Sally” Arnold, 78, of Briggs, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Scott’s Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Burial will follow at Gillum Cemetery.
Mrs. Arnold died April 24, 2013, in Temple. She was born Sept. 23, 1934, in Henderson to the late Boyd and Therrasa Bartlett Sharp and grew up in the Malakoff area.
She spent many years in Idaho as a U.S. forest ranger’s wife. She also lived in New Mexico, Utah, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Georgia before moving to Texas with her daughter. She has always volunteered in many areas during her life with the Forest Service, Belton High School, many libraries across the country and recently with the Lampasas Senior Citizens, Briggs Baptist Church Food Bank and Briggs Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include her children, Wayne Floyd and his wife, Patti, of Kenai, Alaska, Lez’le Denson and her husband, Rick, of Briggs, Jon Arnold of Hartford, Conn., and Don Arnold and his wife, Sue, of Wausau, Wis.; grandchildren, Jason, Anna, Reuben, Kathryn Floyd, Charlie Wiederhold, Justin Denson, Jessica, Caitlyn, Taylor Arnold; and 12½ great-grandchildren.

Visitation is at 2 p.m. Monday at Scott’s Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, which is in charge of arrangements.
