Funeral services for Thomas Marion Lancaster, 58, of Belton, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dossman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lancaster Cemetery in Temple.

Mr. Lancaster died Sept. 3, 2013, at his home. He was born Aug. 8, 1955, in Belton to Buck Asa Lancaster and Loucille (Carter) Lancaster. He was a 1973 graduate of Belton High School and he attended Temple College.

He married Mary Spurgeon on Dec. 31, 1977, in Salado. He worked for 15 years for 7-Eleven before purchasing his own convenience stores in Austin and two in Belton, Miller Heights Mini Mart and the Lake Stop.

Mr. Lancaster was an entrepreneur, and had Tomz Wheels, an Internet automotive accessories business.

He was a member of the Mid Texas Corvette Club. He enjoyed Auto Cross racing and car shows. He was a member of the Belton Church of Christ.

Mr. Lancaster was preceded in death by his son, Peter Spurgeon, on Aug. 16, 2013.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Kathryn Lancaster of Belton; daughter, Katrina Marie Lancaster of Austin; and grandson Riley Baxter Warren.

Memorials may be made to the Belton Church of Christ or the Wounded Warrior Project.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
