Funeral services for Trudy Opal Parker Bowles will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Baptist Church in Killeen, with Pastor Ken Cavey officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Brookside Memorial Park in Houston.

Ms. Bowles died Nov. 13, 2013, after a brief illness. She was born Feb. 28, 1923, to the late Amon and Ida Parker.

She was a Christian and an active member of Memorial Baptist Church in Killeen, the Songbirds singing group from Lions Club Park Senior Center, Boys & Girls Senior Water Aerobics classes, the 700 Club and the Central Texas Republican Women.

Survivors include her three daughters, Shirley Ann Stephenson of Salado, Helen Catherine Winn of Killeen and Lyn Bowles Moye of Canton, Ga.; grandchildren, Lera Lynn Buettner of Nashville, Tenn., Shaun Winn of Frisco, Kimberly Cheatham of Honolulu, Hawaii, Brandy Hull of Richmond, Brenda Hall of Copperas Cove, Brett VerVoort of Austin, Morgan VerVoort of Houston, Joshua Cheatham of Dallas, Josiah Cheatham of Los Angeles, Calif., Dakota Stephenson and Jacob Stephenson of LaPorte, Ind.; and two great-granddaughters, Taylor Winn of Frisco and Allison Hall of Richmond.

Memorial donations may be made to Memorial Baptist Church.
