Victor Allen Cox, 80, of Copperas Cove, died peacefully on Sept. 23, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Oklahoma City to the late Eugene and Clora Mae Carter Cox.

Victor joined the U.S. Air Force where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

He worked at the Cox Tomato Company and Oklahoma City Tomato Company in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his parents; and Corrinna Upton and Betty Barnes.

Survivors include his four daughters, Leah Benner, Nellie Wright, Michelle Rush and Rebecca Borja; 10 grandchildren, Grace, Aaron, Alex, Courtney, Gregory, Deja, Cheyenne, Ryan, Chloe and Carlos; one future great-grandchild; his lifelong friend, Marva S. Cox, mother of three of his daughters; his siblings, Fern Kenworthy and Hal Cox; three half-sisters; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and his beloved dog, Missy.

Mr. Cox will be memorialized at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
