Services for retired Sgt. 1st Class William Alexander Bolton Jr., 62, of Kempner, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.
Mr. Bolton died Sept. 10, 2017, at his residence in Kempner. He was born July 25, 1955, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He joined the U.S. Army and served his country proudly for more than 20 years. During his time as a U.S. soldier, he earned many badges and medals to include the NATO medal, expert marksmanship qualification badge with pistol bar, expert marksmanship qualification badge with grenade bar and the driver and mechanic badge with driver bar.
Survivors include his wife; three children; two sisters; six grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 211 W. Avenue B, Copperas Cove.
