(StatePoint) Each November, Americans travel near and far to gather with their loved ones, reflect on their blessings and give thanks. For most, Thanksgiving is filled with fun, football and -- most importantly -- delicious food. However, for anyone charged with preparing the traditional feast, it can prove to be one of the most stressful days of the year.

This year, Jennie-O examined how much time hosts spend preparing the Thanksgiving banquet and came to the rescue with time-saving solutions in its “Holiday Entertaining By the Numbers” infographic.

The executive committee of the Bell County Democrats will meet from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Agri-Life Extension, 1605 N. Main St., Belton.

Voter registration planned at 2 local Wal-Mart stores

Bell County Deputy Registrars Kathy Bradley and Verda Jarmon will be at the Killeen Wal-Mart from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Thursday registering local residents to vote.
