Well it's closing time for the poll and at years end. I hope this will convince this city council that they need t look at public sentiment and not go it alone. This city has wasted entirely too much public funds, and I know this is a flash point for some of this city's patrons and matrons, but we need to encompass a little more equality in such areas as KPD and KFD at 73 percent, the funding of the ceramic armor plates that will expire I 5 years. I have suggested that these ceramic armor plates undergo a thorough check to see if there are alternates or possible extensions of service.

I do not agree with this school district and the enormous bond, $426 million, they are wanting this city to pass and I do not agree with the city's $46.1 million dollar bond that they are pushing down our throats. To me it is something that is good for the home builders and not good for the average citizens.

City council I emplore you to 'reverse the decision in the maintenanceto hold to the 25 percent level.

This tally is taken at 2200 hours, December 30, 2017.

Yes : 8.0 %
: 7.5 %
Total Yes : 15.5 %

No : 57.1 %
: 22.1 %
Total No : 79.2 %

Undecided : 5.3 %

Total : 100 %

I believe this city has decided along with the previous vote on the school bonds.

Well the margin of dissatisfied voters seems to be staying in the upper 70's. Seems like citizens don't care for the city council's vote at all.

Well the margin of dissatisfaction seems to be swelling to a resounding 'NO' by the margin of 79.1 percent to a dismal 'YES' of only 15.4 percent.

It seems like a ground swell that is against the city and city's management practices, but who knows.

Well it's 0600 Dec. 25, 2017 and the voting is:

1. Yes 7.0
2. Yes 9.3
16.3

3. No 48.8
4. No 27.7
76.5
5. Un 7.0

Seems like a pretty convincing message to me. But this city has not gone along with public sentiment many times in the past choosing to 'go their own way'.

Seems like I can remember drastic measures in the past that got us in real trouble.
