To the Editor:

Wow! I didn’t know that school superintendents and certain city officials were worth so many times more than our first responders!

I would have thought the men and women that daily put their lives on the line for us should be in a much higher income bracket, wouldn’t you?

If their lives are worth so little, why are they in that line of work?

I know they feel a need to do it, and should be commended for doing what so many of us can not, but shouldn’t they be much better compensated for it?

How many of you would do their job for what they get paid?
