To the Editor:

I sent a letter to editor earlier (about the proposed Killeen chemical plant) and it was published. I was surprised at that time there was no talk about this. Now it is being talked about. I still have a couple extra questions.

1 Were the buyers of the homes going up on Rancier and Roy Reynolds notified prior to purchasing these homes that they have a chemical plant going up in their backyard? Seems houses are going up faster since plant was announced in the paper.

2. Why is the plant in a residential area?

3. Why so close to a military base?

I have more questions on my mind but will have to address those at a later date.
