To the Editor:

Many neighborhoods in Killeen bear the tragic results of residential evictions. Not only is it traumatic to see this happen to any family, but the rest of the community suffers when their possessions are scattered throughout the area.

When the judge signs the order for the sheriff/constable to execute, the property owner or manager should be required to make sure items taken out the house are not left to trash the neighborhood.

Waiting two, three or more days for scheduled bulk trash pickup is unreasonable. The community suffers needlessly.
