To the Editor:

My heart goes out to the poor animals; they need our help.

I believe in my heart that I am still here because of my animals, and they keep me going on.

We need our dogs as much as they need us.

A pet is good for everyone, including some with health problems, as in my case. I know my pets and my faith in God are what keep me alive.

I help them as much as I can, but I am blessed that I have George Grammas for the donation of my pets. I don’t know what I’d do without him.

In Sweden, they analyzed the health records of 3.4 million people living in northern European countries. They found that people who owned a dog lived longer.

Stop the breeding, because too many animals are dying every day. Animals have a heart and feel pain, just like us. Folks, go to the shelter and take a pet home with you. Remember they’re being dumped on the streets; please give them a home.Thank you, and don’t forget God loves us for that.

Only a few people are caring for our unwanted animals. Thanks to Dr. Ray and all the doctors at Town & Country Veterinary Clinic. And don’t forget about Kathy’s Kitties. She wants to help animals, and she needs help to do it. When you take care of animals, it takes lots of time and money.

Have a heart and give some funds for the care of our animals.
