To the Editor:

I want to thank some of Killeen’s finest for showing they care about the community. These officers have described community policing by their actions in the community.

Lt. Robert Rush and Brian Goodsby, were at an event and became part of the event. They talked to everyone there, they listened to what people had to say; the interaction was great.

Officer J. Burnett showed the people who interacted with him that he cared about their concerns.

Lt. Willie Bryant always answers any questions that come his way. If he doesn’t know the answer, he will find out and let you know,

Lt. Antonia McDaniel is developing a program for our young men in the community. Officer Kyle Moore is one officer the young people trust.

I want to say thank you.

We need more publicity focusing on positive relationships between communities and law enforcement. This should be a focus of ALL the local media outlets to find positive new about our law enforcement and specifically citizens and law enforcement working together to keep the streets civil.
